Why Advertise at NoBlood.org?
Each month tens of thousands come to NoBlood to discover the advantages of transfusion alternatives and advance blood management in medicine and surgery. Thousands of registered users and health care professionals visit and participate in thousands of informative discussions. Articles covering techniques and devices such as Erythropoietin (EPO), Acute_Normovolemic_Hemodilution (ANH), Intraoperative_blood_salvage (Cell Salvage), Epidural_Blood_Patch are moderated by world-renowned physicians and researchers.
Probably the best reason to advertise on NoBlood.org is because it produces results. Note what some of our sponsors are saying:
- Elizabeth Crum, Coordinator at Hackensack University Medical Center said: "I am pleased to report that we have gotten several telephone inquiries and e-mails (including from overseas), and subsequent patients who say they saw our facility on NoBlood.org! It’s amazing what interest this seemingly small amount of advertising is capable of generating."
- Global Blood Resources, manufacturer of the Hemobag, recently increased their advertising budget, according to Keith A. Samolyk CEO, "Advertising on NoBlood has been the most cost-effect catalyst for reaching such a focused market".
If your company provides products or services related to transfusion alternatives and advance blood management, you would be hard pressed to find a more cost-effective method to reach this audience.
Who Are Visiting NoBlood.org?
We can gain insight into the background of NoBlood.org visitors from the type of search terms they use to find NoBlood.org. Please take a look at the following sampling of search terms that brought visitors to NoBlood.org during the month of July 2008. Click on any of the following links for examples of the strong position held by NoBlood.org.
What these terms have in common is that they are all found on the FIRST PAGE when searching Google! Those that are in bold type with asterisks were in the FIRST POSITION on the first page of Google!!! A recent report by the Atlas Institute titled How Important is the Pole Position? reaffirms the power of position. Having the first position on Google provides the greatest number of "conversions" (number of people who follow the link). "In the report’s example, if the relative conversion rate is 10 percent for position one on Google, position two will generate only a 9.1 percent relative conversion rate. Though position two generates a high conversion rate compared to position one, the second position receives only 58.9 percent of click volume. When you multiply the lower conversion rate by the click volume, the conversion potential is illustrated in 54.5 percent fewer conversions." Your mileage may vary depending how Google ‘caches’ their indexes in your part of the world. Those of you who are familiar with the science of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) no doubt appreciate the challenge and value of achieving such strong positioning. This basically demonstrates that NoBlood.org is accomplishing a key objective in its mission to advance knowledge and awareness of transfusion alternatives and blood management (TABM) otherwise known as bloodless medicine and surgery.

Reach Out To Your Target Market
If your company provides products or services related to transfusion alternatives and advance blood management, it would be difficult to find a more cost-effective method to reach your targeted audience.
There is a growing trend for patients seeking quality health care to research their options on the web.
